This entry level course is designed for OTs
and OTAs seeking licensing and advanced training in physical agent
modalities. It may also be a review course for PTs, PTAs and Athletic
Trainers seeking to refresh their skills.
Participants
are cautioned to apply new information and skills within the scope of state
licensure law. The clinical use of physical agent modalities may be governed by
specific state law/practice acts. Clinicians should be aware of their
respective state requirements and regulations related to physical agent
modalities. Completion of this course does not give the participant the
right to apply treatments that are not covered under their specific state’s
practice act.
